Result
Hypothetical example result.
- Total acquired quantity
- 3 units
- Weighted buy price before fees
- 86.66666667 quote / unit
- Average acquisition cost with fees
- 86.75333333 quote / unit
- Break-even sell price with entered future fee
- 86.84017351 quote / unit
- Gross buy cost
- 260 quote
- Total acquisition fees
- 0.26 quote
- Acquisition cost with fees
- 260.26 quote
- Each fee is a percent of that row’s gross quote-currency cost. Fees are paid in the quote currency and do not reduce acquired quantity.
- Sale break-even assumes the entire acquired quantity is sold at one price with the entered future sell fee. Disposals, fixed sale costs and taxes are excluded; this is not a tax basis calculation.

Formula and worked example
Weighted price = sum of (buy quantity × buy price) ÷ total quantity. Average acquisition cost adds each row’s quote-currency fee to the numerator. This assumes the buy quantities are the units received. Sale break-even = average acquisition cost ÷ (1 − future sell fee ÷ 100).
Hypothetical example: 1 unit at 100 and 2 units at 80, with a 0.1% fee on both buys. Total quantity is 3, gross cost is 260, and fees total 0.26. Weighted buy price is about 86.6667; average acquisition cost with fees is 86.7533 quote units. With a 0.1% future sell fee, break-even is about 86.8402.
