This row covers the staking product

ether.fi offers several products, including staking, vault strategies and payment-related services. The provider's ether.fi Stake row focuses on staking capital. It should not be interpreted as a balance for every ether.fi-branded product. A liquid staking receipt changes how an ETH position can be held or transferred; it does not remove the underlying staking dependencies.

Receipts and governance tokens are not interchangeable

The ETH staking position and its liquid receipts are distinct from ETHFI governance exposure. Moving a receipt into a separate vault or lending position adds another product's rules. A vault may use an external allocation framework, so its strategy and exit path need their own review instead of inheriting assumptions from this staking row.

TVL is different from immediately realizable proceeds

The reported staking balance values assets under the provider's methodology. It does not quote the proceeds of selling a receipt or establish a withdrawal deadline. Fees, delayed exits and the liquidity of a secondary-market trade can produce different outcomes. Comparing net returns requires those costs and any added restaking commitments to be considered separately.

Follow the full position path

  • Identify whether you are researching staking, a liquid vault or another ether.fi product.
  • Separate validator and restaking risks from secondary-market slippage and vault allocation risk.
  • Inspect the current withdrawal conditions and fees; a displayed reward rate alone does not determine a realized net return.
