A specific money market within Spark

SparkLend is Spark's permissionless money market for supplying assets and borrowing against collateral. It is separate from Spark Savings and the Spark Liquidity Layer. The current documentation describes market-specific collateral restrictions, caps and oracle controls. Similar interfaces do not mean that every reserve shares the same parameters as an Aave deployment.

Know the position's denomination

The asset received by a wallet, the debt's denomination and the collateral can differ in a routed transaction. Inspect the market and periphery route rather than assuming a displayed dollar amount fully describes the position. SPK token exposure is separate from ownership of supplied lending assets or a savings-vault share.

Capital and liquidity have different scopes

SparkLend TVL measures a lending-module balance. It is not Spark's combined savings and allocation capital. The Liquidity Layer can move stablecoin liquidity between approved venues, but that relationship does not make every withdrawal unconditional. Reserve utilization, configured limits and current inventory remain relevant to a particular exit or borrow.

Research a loan beyond its starting ratio

  • Read current collateral modes, oracle behavior and supply/borrow caps for the selected market.
  • Interest and collateral price movements can reduce a position's health after entry.
  • Our supplied health-factor simulator does not model every SparkLend oracle control, routing rule or liquidation condition.
