sTRX represents a TRX staking product

JustLend's sTRX product stakes TRX under TRON's staking resource model and manages voting and Energy rental. The documented reward sources include voting rewards and Energy-rental revenue. It is separate from supplying assets into JustLend V1 lending markets.

One sTRX is not always one TRX

The receipt's exchange rate expresses the amount of underlying TRX associated with sTRX. Rewards can change that relationship, so receipt units, underlying units and dollar values should not be mixed. A secondary-market price can also differ from the protocol exchange rate. Use the current documented rate rather than assuming a permanent one-to-one conversion.

TVL and withdrawal timing answer different questions

The recorded staking balance describes capital in the product, not an instant exit quote. Unstaking follows an unbonding process before TRX can be claimed. Selling sTRX at a trading venue is a different path with its own depth and slippage. Reported APY varies with reward and rental conditions; it is not a fixed promise for the entire holding period.

Checks for a net-return scenario

  • Keep TRX and sTRX quantities separate and account for their exchange rate.
  • Include the chosen exit path's waiting period or trading costs.
  • Inspect the current reward, reserve and contract rules; gross staking rewards alone do not capture every risk or cost.
