Ethereum gas calculator
Estimate an Ethereum execution fee from gas used, base fee and priority fee.
Inputs
The starting values are a hypothetical example. Replace them with your own.
Result
Hypothetical example result.
- Estimated execution fee
- 0.00044100 ETH
- Entered base + priority fee
- 21 gwei
- Use gas expected to be consumed, not an unspent gas limit. The entered priority fee is assumed to be fully paid.
- Contract execution may consume different gas. L2 data fees, token value, failed-transaction gas, refunds and max-fee caps are outside this estimate. Future base fees may differ.

Formula and worked example
Estimated execution fee in ETH = gas used × (base fee + priority fee in gwei) ÷ 1,000,000,000. An optional USD estimate multiplies that ETH amount by your manual ETH/USD reference.
Hypothetical example: a simple ETH transfer using 21,000 gas at 20 gwei base fee and 1 gwei priority fee costs 0.00044100 ETH. Token transfers and contract calls can use different gas. L2 data fees and future block-fee changes require separate estimates.
